Before your fitting
- Bring clean garments — freshly laundered or dry-cleaned as appropriate.
- Bring the shoes you intend to wear where a hem length is being set.
- For fitted, formal or bridal garments, wear or bring the intended underwear or shapewear.
- Tell me about any fixed event or travel deadline before work is accepted.
- Tell me about previous repairs, alterations or known damage.
- Empty your pockets before leaving a garment.
Consultation fee
A £10 fee applies if you come in for assessment, fitting or advice and decide not to go ahead with any alteration work. If the work does go ahead, the consultation is included and isn't charged on top.
