A well-fitting garment changes how you feel in it. I work one garment at a time, by appointment, from my studio in Brighton — from a simple hem to a wedding dress.
What I do
Everyday repairs to specialist bridal work
Every garment is assessed individually. These are guide prices — the final figure is confirmed after assessment and, where needed, a fitting. Minimum charge £15, or £20 where a fitting is required.
Trousers & jeans
Shortening, tapering and waist adjustments, including original hems.

Hemming, side seams and shoulders, lined or unlined.

One pair of hands, start to finish
Your garment isn't passed down a line. I do the consultation, the fitting and the sewing myself, which means the person who pinned it is the person who alters it.
I spent around ten years running a bridal business in Ukraine, carrying out the fittings and alterations myself, before training in Fashion, Sewing & Textiles here in Brighton. That background is why delicate fabrics and complex construction don't worry me.
